Unlike other concealers that are lighter\u00a0in coverage\u00a0(and therefore\u00a0more\u00a0forgiving), Airbrush Flawless Blur<\/a> is\u00a0dependent\u00a0on correct application.\u00a0Both myself and Jackie\u00a0were overenthusiastic the first time, only to realize that\u00a0less is more\u00a0with this formula.\u00a0\u201cI made the mistake of applying big swipes under my eyes (old habits die hard) and struggled to make it look natural,\u201d she says.\u00a0\u201cThe fact that so little goes a long way is actually a bonus \u2014 concealer is expensive, and it\u2019s my most-used product, so this one is excellent value.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Since this is a matte, full-coverage formula, I lean into skin prep\u00a0in order\u00a0to\u00a0create a hydrated, radiant base that will provide a comfortable canvas\u00a0for makeup.\u00a0Instead of\u00a0my everyday technique of\u00a0dotting concealer in place of foundation and blending, I ended up\u00a0strategically\u00a0placing tiny\u00a0dots\u00a0only\u00a0where needed and buffing\u00a0it out with\u00a0my\u00a0Rose & Ben D2 complexion brush<\/a>.\u00a0In\u00a0my experience, this\u00a0delivers the natural coverage I typically prefer, while\u00a0still\u00a0evening out\u00a0hyperpigmentation and breakouts.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The overall effect isn\u2019t mask-like. Instead, it tucks away dark circles, breakouts, and hyperpigmentation in a way that\u00a0doesn\u2019t\u00a0erase features. My skin still looks like skin.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
